VOLUNTEER WITH US

Our volunteers are of mixed ages, everyone does what they’re able to do and we work as a team,

Please bring along a packed lunch, appropriate footwear and a pair of gardening gloves.

For all FoSPA events, under 18's must be accompanied by their own responsible adult at all times. We can support DoE Awards if capacity allows.

For all Park Ranger led activities, Birmingham City Council policies apply.

If it’s your first session, please email us ahead of the session at info@fospa.org.uk. We then know we’re looking out for a new face and can confirm the meeting point with you as this can change each session.

After a your first session, if you'd like to come back again, we ask for volunteers to become FoSPA members which includes insurance cover for volunteers.

Event Marshals

Our walks increase knowledge and appreciation of Sutton Park, but to keep attendees safe and together, we need a few event marshals.

We want to create a bank of marshals who can join us on our walks, FoSPA hi-vis vest provided! We aim to give 1-3 months notice to organise each event.

If you can help, please get in touch!

We host volunteering sessions within Sutton Park and we also hold regular walks and talks about Sutton Park, its history and its inhabitants.
